Annual General Meeting 2021

SAVE THE DAY – SHA Virtual AGM (MS - Teams)
Tuesday 14th Sept (19:00-20:30) 

Message from the Chair:

"It’s been a trying year all round, in all sorts of ways, since our last AGM in September 2020, and the Scottish Handball family has shown great forbearance and resolution during this uniquely challenging time.
 
Prospects of a return to court are now thankfully beginning to increase, and we start to look forward to the return of competitive fixtures and other exciting developments for our game.

 
So it’s an especially important time for representatives of the Scottish Handball family to come together for our 2021 AGM to share a joined-up view of the way forward.

 
Therefore can all clubs please by COP Tuesday 3rd August:

• Nominate at least one representative to attend SHA virtual AGM on Tuesday 14th September

• Nominate any proposed candidates for election to SHA Board

• Advise any proposed motions, resolutions or amendments to Memorandum and Articles of Association

Full agenda will be confirmed nearer the time; business will include Operational, Strategic and Financial overviews, as well as the usual business (such as Election of Directors/Chair, fixing of subscriptions and fees etc).
 
The AGM will take place online, and will not exceed 90 minutes in length.
 
Further challenges undoubtedly await as we seek to restart again even stronger. I hope that you also feel that there are some tremendous and exciting opportunities ahead for us to grow our great game, as we begin increasingly to come back together again.
